Day 1: Hanoi: (Arrival): 

Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your local tour guide, transfer to your hotel in downtown. In the afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Visit the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only as it closes in the afternoon), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university of Vietnam. Later, have an overall view of the capital by cyclo in 1 hour, which wanders around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake). From here wandering on the narrow streets of the Old Quarter to experience the daily life of the local people. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at in Hanoi. (Note: Early check in is not included and subject to hotel availability)

Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (Overnight Cruise): 

After breakfast, around 8:00-9:00, your bus driver and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel, drive across the Red River delta and reach the coast a little before noon. Embark on a beautifully crafted junk for an overnight cruise in the legendary seascape of Ha Long Bay. Once on board, you are served a delicious seafood-based lunch, while the surrounding limestone outcrops make for a truly magical setting. In the afternoon, you reach a less travelled area where you will devote yourselves to pure relaxation. The program is not fixed and depends on the time of the year and weather, but there will be an opportunity to visit a cave as well as explore a floating village or do a little bit of kayaking over the course of these 2 days. End the day on the sundeck as the sun sets on this magical seascape. This evening, you can enjoy an aperitif or attend a cooking demonstration before dinner. Overnight in a comfortable private cabin with an en-suite bathroom. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Halong Bay-Hanoi-Da Nang: 

For those early birds, start the day with a proposed Tai Chi session, while tea and coffee are served as the sun rises and illuminates the surrounding seascape. Then, continue exploration of the bay. Upon returning to the boat, check-out of your cabin and enjoy a light brunch while cruising back to the pier. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. Take a private transfer without guide to the airport. Leave Hanoi for Danang. Landing at Da Nang International Airport, you are greeted upon arrival and driven to your hotel. Check in and Overnight stay in Da Nang. (B)

Day 4: Danang – Hoian Ancient Town – Cam Thanh coconut village: 

Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for day trip to Hoi An and visit its most popular attractions. Stroll down to Hoi An Old Town, a UNESCO world heritage site will go on to see Japanese Bridge, a prime attraction in Old Town. Stop by the Old Chapel House Complex and Phuc Kien Assembly Halls before shopping at the local market and taking a break over an authentic lunch (on own budget). The tour concludes with a visit Hoian Silk Village Center — a great place to pick up a few souvenirs. Later transfer to visit Cam Thanh water coconut village. Where you will receive a briefing about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community before you board on boat and enjoy cruising on the Cua Dai River. Later then join the local fisherman on the river as you try your hand at casting a net, learn how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat and explore the now tranquil coconut palm flanking the waterways. You also learn about the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides in this area during the Vietnam War. Spend some time to relax and enjoy the surroundings before transferring back to our hotel. Overnight in Danang. (B)

Day 5: Da Nang – Ba Na Hills – Da Nang: 

After breakfast, Transfer to Ba Na hills area where your cable car transfer will be waiting to take you up to an altitude of 1487m above sea level. This is the second longest cable car in the world. On a visit to Ba Na hills, you will be able to enjoy visits to an ecological park, a theme park, a pagoda, and a mock French village (not including Wax Museum). Accompanied by your tour guide, you can walk the “Golden Bridge” – the pedestrian walkway offering tourist’s uninterrupted views of the majestic landscape beneath. Next you will have some free time to explore the park some more, discover the games and other entertainment areas. Spend more time to relax at your preference then make your way back to the cable car to venture back down the mountain for transfer to hotel. Overnight in Da Nang. (B)

Day 6: Da Nang: (Departure): 

After breakfast, Today you are free for leisure & shopping until transfer to Airport for departure. (B)
